In Summary

• Kenyans must ignore cheap propaganda from Jubilee Party on why there's a problem in government.

• The truth is the party is simply refusing to play by the dictates of the 2010 Constitution.

When those in power blatantly refuse to play by the rules, the results can only the chaos we see in the way the government is run today.

So bad is the situation that I don't know how major decisions are arrived at with dysfunctional organs of the Executive. Kenyans must ignore cheap propaganda from Jubilee Party on why there's a problem in government. The truth is the party is simply refusing to play by the dictates of the 2010 Constitution. A party that is run as a personal property where major decisions are arrived at not based on the best interest of the members but few friends can't go anywhere.

It is, therefore, not surprising that the party is today a shell and the government it formed is running on autopilot.

No more pretenses will fly. Thanks to succession politics, the President dedicated a lot his second term worrying and minding about who comes after him.

The BBI lies, trumped up charges, political witch-hunt became the order of business in government. It was a matter of time before the facade peeled off. This is because lies have a very short shelf life. New bridges were being built by destroying old ties but had the audacity to call that unity.

Constitution was being abrogated with abandon. Our problems were being heaped on few individuals, whom we were told are our enemies. The country is witnessing unprecedented level of uncertainty because Jubilee is not playing by the rules.

It's doing politics by purporting to start and end lifestyle audit with the deputy president. It obeys court orders when it feels like. Parliament summons are obeyed when the committee comprise friendlier members who are couched on what to ask.

Jubilee can't be redeemed.
