There will be a press briefing by the Steering Committee of the Third National Wage Bill Conference 2024 on Friday.

The event will take place at the Nairobi Safari Club from 9.45 am to 11 am.

President William Ruto will be the chief guest.

The brief will highlight the progress made in planning for the upcoming Third National Wage Bill Conference slated for April 15-17 at the Bomas of Kenya under the theme “Towards 35 per cent.

The Professional Association of Nyanza Women Strategic Plan Launch.

The Professional Association of Nyanza Women (PANY) which is under the patronage of ICT CS Eliud Owalo will today officially launch its Strategic Plan.

The launch is taking place on Friday at Serena Hotel, Nairobi.

The First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto will be the chief guest, assisted by the Spouse of the Deputy President Pastor Dorcas Rigathi.

The event will commence at 6:30 am and conclude at 10:00 am.

KNEC upcoming National Symposium.

The briefing Session on Kenya National Examinations Council's (KNEC) upcoming National Symposium will take place on Friday from 8.00 am.

The event will commence at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD). 

To keep abreast with the ongoing education reforms in Kenya that have led to changes in assessment practices and reporting, KNEC plans to hold the inaugural National Symposium on Competency-Based Assessment (CBA).

Running under the theme; “Shaping the Future of Education: Nurturing Learner’s Potential through Competency Based Assessment”, the three-day symposium will be held at the College of Insurance, South C from April 22 to 24.

The Judiciary.

The JSC's endeavour to fill 20 High Court Judge vacancies continues today.

24 candidates have been assessed, and 76 still remain.

Today, 6 more hopefuls faced the panel.

UDA elections board to meet leaders from six more counties.

The United Democratic Alliance party will on Friday hold a leaders' meeting to strategise for the upcoming polls.

The meeting will take place at the Hustler Centre and shall be chaired by the chairperson of the UDA Elections Board Anthony Mwaura.

All elected and nominated leaders from the Constituencies, as well as the County level, will also attend the meeting.
