In Summary

•Citizens have realised that political ego among the leaders is manifested as priority number one to the interest and welfare of the citizens.

•Capitalism has ruined our politicians which by nature has created political animosity and greed hence depriving the common citizen of meeting basic needs.

Why voting well matters.

Lauded by some international observers as largely peaceful and above average, the recent election had the lowest voter turnout in 15 years as most youths stayed away.

This voter apathy, clearly shows that most citizens, especially the youth, have lost faith in leadership which has for a long time not solved their pressing issues such as unemployment especially when the leaders assume office.

Citizens have realised that political ego among the leaders is manifested as priority number one to the interest and welfare of the citizens.

Capitalism has ruined our politicians which by nature has created political animosity and greed hence depriving the common citizen of meeting basic needs.

This is the system that is anchored on enriching the rich and exploiting the poor ultimately resulting in a huge gap between the wealthy and the poor

Politics is all about taking care of the needs of the people rather than a power struggle among the politicians who fight for their benefit.

Sadly Kenya lacks leadership that manifests true statesmanship free from the sphere of the influence of colonial capitalist powers.
