Politician Karen Nyamu has asked bloggers to start acknowledging her impact on the youth.
Speaking to content creators, Karen, who is mugiithi singer Samidoh's baby mama, said she has been helping youths in the city but none of such stories about her is written.
"The reason I no longer want to speak about my relationship is that people like exaggerating and dwelling too much on it," she said.
"Blogs love my personal life and right now, I am so passionate about getting the senatorial seat. I do a lot of positive things in Nairobi with the youths but blogs just concentrate on my personal life.
"When I give birth or when my baby daddy is mentioned, you cover that for three days. Please also write positive things about my political life."
Samidoh's wife Edday Nderitu endorsed Karen's rival Julie Kabogo.
Karen said Samidoh has the right to support whoever he wants politically.
"You know he has been avoiding those stories and so it's up to him to get the balls and support me," she said.
The mother of three had attended the Sh1.5 million medical bill fundraiser for comedian Akuku Danger on Saturday.
"I don't know him personally and he has made me laugh on TV or on YouTube. When he is going through hard times, you can't ignore," she said.
"Most of the artistes are my friends, even the father of my children is an artiste."
Karen urged the youth not to be drawn into tribal politics.
