Online shopping firm OLX has opened nominations for its annual Social Media Awards ahead of the ceremony to be held in June.
This year’s awards, dubbed Celebrating Five Years of Impact, will focus on celebrating achievements that have been realised in the digital space since 2013 while creating awareness on responsible use of social media ahead of the August 8 polls. Kenyans can nominate individuals and organisations through the SoMA website before the deadline set for April 30.
“Brands have realised the potential of social media in engaging with their clients. They understand very well where the crowd is and when they are online and active, ” SoMA director Martin Muli said.
