“This strategic partnership merges the financial expertise of Dayton Enterprises Ltd with Tassells Farm Limited's proficiency in dairy farming to establish an advanced dairy farm complete with comprehensive support structures,” the statement read.

Dayton Enterprises Ltd is renowned for its role in asset management, export and imports, financial arrangements for overseas ventures, and real estate advisory services.

Tassells Farm Limited, on the other hand, envisions establishing an ultramodern dairy farm that surpasses conventional practices.

The statement further said the project aims to acquire hybrid Friesian Holstein breed stocks while concurrently developing a local dairy breed with distinct local traits.

“A diverse commercial milk processing plant will be established to facilitate the development of various milk products and brands, meeting the diverse needs of consumers in the ever-evolving market,” it read.

The farm will also have cutting-edge animal feed and minerals manufacturing facilities, along with a mechanised fodder production facility to ensure a sustainable supply chain.

“A significant aspect of the project involves establishing a dairy farmer's microfinance company. This initiative addresses the financial needs of farmers, ensuring smooth operations and working capital," the statement read.

"The project is committed to enhancing and building the capacity of the dairy farming community. This includes fostering a sense of belonging, easing information dissemination, and providing overall support to the ecosystem,” read the statement.

The project will enhance reliable markets for processed products, creating a sustainable demand for the envisioned dairy products.

The ultramodern dairy farm will be on 52,000 acres of land in Taru Ranch Ltd, within Kwale county, MacKinnon town, along Mutito Adei-Mombasa Road.

The investors extended an invitation to all stakeholders, investors, and community members to join the transformative journey towards a sustainable and prosperous future in dairy farming.
