Kenya Power has announced that they are experiencing a delay in relaying token messages.

"We wish to inform all our prepaid customers that we are experiencing a delay in relaying token messages," Kenya Power said in a tweet on its X platform.

In the statement on X, Kenya Power gave its customers an alternative.

"Customers are advised to access the token by dialling *977#>1: Prepaid Services (Token)> 2: Latest Token>Select Meter of add meter," Kenya Power said.

"Alternatively, tokens can be accessed through the MyPower App which is available on Android and iOS Platforms. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
