President William Ruto on Saturday met with Akorino leadership at the State House.
The leaders were led by National Coordinator Bishop Isaac Kariuki and Runyenjes MP Muchangi Karemba.
During the meeting, the leaders committed Ruto's leadership to God, praying against his enemies and critics.
"Komesha wale wanaamka kufanya nchi yetu iende vibaya. Tumekabidhi ufalme kwa nchi yetu juu yake," a leader prayed.
He added, "Tumeweka familia yake yote mikononi mwako. Na wale wanaonmfuata, kitu tutaondoa Bwana, ni wale watu ambao watampoteza na maneno yao... hawa Bwana tumekuomba, ondoa karibu na yeye."
Following the meeting, Ruto emphasised on the collective responsibility as a society to ensure the integrity of "our moral fabric."
“We look to our religious leaders and other actors to provide society with the moral compass necessary to overcome the challenges we face due to moral decline,” he said.
State House did not reveal the agenda of the meeting.
