Jaza Discounter supermarket chain Tuesday launched a new branch in Buruburu.
The new branch is domiciled at the EPREN Center in Buruburu, opposite Buruburu police station.
"The opening underscores Jaza Discounter supermarket's unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled quality, affordability, and customer satisfaction thereby redefining the shopping experience for customers," the retailer said in a statement.
Willy Kimani, the founder and director of Jaza Discounter, said the expansion initiative is part of its plan to open five more stores by the end of July.
The new stores are set to be launched in New Donholm, Karen End, Ngong Road, Mombasa Road and Nairobi CBD.
"Jaza is driven by innovation and customer-centric values, aspiring to become the preferred destination for budget-conscious shoppers seeking exceptional value without compromising quality; we can't wait to bring this experience to more areas," Kimani said.
Jaza debuted in December 2023 with the inauguration of its flagship store in Buruburu.
Since its debut the brand has rapidly expanded its presence in Nairobi, establishing ten additional stores in Gachie, Kayole Mihango, Kayole Soweto, Chokaa, Githurai 44, Imara, Pipilene, Utawala, Langata and Mombasa Road.
"The enthusiastic response from the public underscores the promising trajectory ahead."
In addition, Jaza has also introduced an innovative e-commerce platform, putting the power in the hands of consumers to shop conveniently from their homes.
"This platform offers a seamless shopping experience, with a wide range of products available at the same affordable prices as in-store," it read.
Customers can access the e-commerce platform via their WhatsApp number 0740002000.
