List of presidents set to attend AfDB Nairobi summit

The annual general meetings being held at the KICC runs from May 27-31.

Kenya is this week again playing host to a key summit that brings together various heads of state from the continent.

The African Development Bank (AfDB) annual general meetings being held at the KICC from May 27-31 also bring together governors of central banks from African countries, policymakers and other delegates.

This year's theme is “Africa’s Transformation: the African Development Bank, and the Reform of the Global Financial Architecture".

The theme is set against the realisation that despite sustained economic growth over the past two decades, Africa’s economic transformation remains a work in progress with a lot more to be done.

President William Ruto will join other heads of state Wednesday in a high-level presidential dialogue to discuss the slow pace of transformation in Africa, identifying the key challenges and opportunities.

3. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa-Zimbabwe.

4. Mohamed Younis al-Menfi-Libya.

5. Joseph Nyuma Boakai- Liberia.

6. Filipe Jacinto Nyusi- Mozambique

7. Evariste Ndayishimiye-Burundi

8. Mohamed Ould Ghazouani- Mauritania

9. Denis Sassou Nguesso-Congo

10. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-Ghana

11. Abiy Ahmed Ali, Prime Minister Ethiopia

12. Felix Tshisekedi- DR Congo

13. Samia Suluhu Hassan-Tanzania
