KDF chopper crashes in Kaben, Marakwet East

A KDF chopper has crashed in Kaben, Marakwet East, with an unknown number of people.

Officials say there are casualties.

The area has been cordoned off.

Initial reports indicate that there were 14 top military officials on board.

Reports indicate that Chief of Defence Forces Francis Ogolla was on board.

Rescue mission ongoing with some of those injured rushed to Eldoret for medical attention.
