Public Service and Delivery Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has explained why he has special ties with Kianjokoma in Embu.

The CS said that it started when he was courting a woman from Embu but he did not get to marry her.

CS Kuria said that he failed to understand the Embu language which led to their separation.

"It is not by mistake that I always start my projects in Embu, I was to marry a woman from Kianjokoma but when I used to confess my feelings to her by saying I loved her, she would respond 'Nembise' which means  (I know) but I thought she was saying that she is busy," he said.

"I told her when you say you are busy all the time when will we find time to get married. I know Muthoni is still waiting for me. When I'm here I know that am at Muthoni Wa Kianjokoma."

He said that it has been his joy to test his project ideas in Embu which has been warmly received by the residents.

CS Kuria thanked Governor Cecily Mbarire for allowing him to test his idea projects in the County.

"When we announced about Industrial Parks when President William Ruto was here, it happened in Embu. We also began the VTC project here. Today we are launching Huduma Digital Center in Embu," he said.

Kuria called on the Embu residents to take advantage of the programs that have been created to fill the gap of unemployment and better their lives.

The CS spoke on Friday in Runyenjes Constituency during the groundbreaking ceremony of the first Huduma Digital Center.
