The Kenya National Highways Authority and the Kenya Urban Roads Authority have advised motorists using the Southern Bypass to Mbagathi Way to use alternative routes on Sunday, March 17.
This follows a temporary road closure for the second Annual Gertrude's Family Cancer Walk that is set to take place from 7:00 am to noon organised by Gertrude's Children's Hospital.
The closure is set to affect the Southern Bypass-Langata Road-Aerodrome Road-Bunyala Road-Lower Hill Road-Elgon Road-Hospital Road-Upper Hill Links Road-Mbagathi Way.
KeNHA reported that there will also be traffic police along the routes to control the flow of traffic and ensure that motorists navigate the roads smoothly.
