The hearing of the impeachment of Kisii Deputy Governor Robert Monda continues today in the Senate.
He is expected to present his evidence and witnesses before the Senators.

The EACC, ODPP, TI and several other state and non-state actors will today appear before the National Assembly's Justice and Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC).
The representatives from these bodies and institutions will be giving their submissions on the Anti-Graft Bill by Mbeere North MP Geoffrey Ruku.
The Bill seeks to de-criminalize procurement graft by repealing section 45(2)(b) & (c) of the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Act, 2003.
World Kidney day
Kenya joins the world today in marking World Kidney Day.
The day is celebrated on the second Thursday of March every year.
It is aimed at bringing together the patients suffering from kidney diseases and promote awareness of “amazing kidneys” by educating the people about their role in maintaining health.
This year's theme is "Kidney Health for All – Advancing Equitable Access to Care and Optimal Medication Practice”.
It seeks to raise awareness of the inequalities in kidney disease treatment and encourage collaborative efforts to improve access to appropriate treatment for everyone affected by kidney disease.
