Barriers to obtaining a child's birth certificate

According to a report by African Population and Health Research Center, most parenting girls at 86 per cent reported that they had not obtained their children’s birth certificates.

Key barriers to obtaining a birth certificate included their lack of ID cards (20.5 per cent) and lack of money.
