The high cost of living is a top issue Nairobians would like the government to address with urgency.
The latest poll by Infotrak released on Tuesday shows that seven in 10 Nairobi residents cited the high cost living of as their key issue of concern.
Three in 10 (32 per cent) want the problem of unemployment addressed while 31 per cent have decried poor infrastructure such as roads.
Access to clean water is another issue of concern for Nairobians with 27 per cent of respondents citing it during the survey.
Access to affordable healthcare was also mentioned as an issue among 16 per cent of respondents, youth empowerment and poverty reduction among 14 per cent and insecurity at 10 per cent.
Other issues cited include corruption, affordable quality education, cost of doing business, bad politics, equal distribution of resources and ethnicity.
The poll conducted between August 21 to 23 and on September 10, 2023, was released on Tuesday.
The survey which was conducted among 4,000 Kenyans aged 18 years and above from all 47 counties and through computer-assisted telephone interviews.
The poll places the margin error at ±1.55 per cent.
Nationally, the cost of living, unemployment and affordable quality education have emerged as the three key persistent issues Kenyans want addressed.
The three also emerged as the top three main issues of concern during polls conducted in February and July.
