Radio Africa Group on Friday bid farewell to its Head of Internal Audit Joshua Motari, who is exiting the company after a six-year stint.
During a luncheon held at Amani Ya Juu, Westlands, Motari termed Radio Africa Group as the best employer in an emotional farewell message to colleagues.
Motari thanked the company's Chief Executive Officer Patrick Quarcoo for believing in him way back in 2017 when he joined the company.
'"Radio Africa is the best employer, and even as I leave, I'm grateful to the CEO for believing in me and giving me an opportunity to serve the company over the last six years," Motari said.
"It has been an exciting journey working with such an amazingly dedicated staff, and despite work-related pressure, we were able to cultivate and nurture a strong bond that I will cherish," he said.
Group Human Resource Manager Jemima Ngode thanked Motari for his invaluable service to the company during his tenure and wished him well in his future endeavors.
Ngode termed Motari a dependable staff who offered his services to the company with dedication, commitment and zeal.
"I'm happy that even as you leave, you have left an indelible mark in helping the company set up vibrant audit systems," she said.
On her part, Group Head of Legal, Grace Wambui, wished Motari well in his career, terming him a committed colleague who was diligent and thorough in his work.
"I'm quite sure that you will carry with you to the next stop the impeccable work ethics and values that you have cultivated at Radio Africa," she said.
The Star Chief Accountant, Benjamin Otido, lauded Motari for setting up a strong and thorough audit department from scratch, saying it had been instrumental in heralding diligence and efficiency.
The luncheon was also attended by Reselilian Mburunga (Credit Controller), David Karanja (Internal Auditor), James Mbaka (Deputy Political Editor) and Carolyne Gesare (HR assistant).
Motari has been responsible for overseeing the internal audit function at Radio Africa Group.
