Police are looking for a gang that killed a bodaboda rider in a robbery in Kitengela area.

The body of Francis Esadia was found in a pool of blood with his gear on but his motorcycle was missing, police said.

The body had injuries on the back of the head which seemed to have been inflicted by the thieves.

Police said they suspect he was killed as he resisted a robbery on his motorcycle on Sunday night.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and probe.

In Soweto, Kayole, Nairobi, the body of a man was found on the riverside with injuries in the head and back.

The man seemed to have been ferried and dumped at the scene.

The man had an injury on the forehead and at the back of the head inflicted by a blunt object.

Police said they are yet to identify the man and know the motive of the murder.

Elsewhere, police are investigating an incident in which the body of a man was found dumped near a railway line in Nyahururu, Laikipia County.

The body lay in a pool of blood with visible injuries on the back of the head, mouth, and on the left leg at the knee.

At the scene, there was a black bag and blue pair of jeans trousers suspected to belong to the deceased all stained with blood, police said.

Also, a pair of rubber shoes were recovered at the scene.

Police said they were called to the scene and moved the body to the mortuary pending identification and autopsy following the July 16 incident.
