Radio Africa Group on Monday held a Father's Day Celebration to honour all fathers working in the organization.
Led by The Star Business and Weekend Editor Francis Openda and Radio Africa Group CFO Robert Kibutiri, the fathers were thanked for the key roles they play in the family setup.
"Always know that you're appreciated even though we don't get it as often as we should. Be proud, do your thing and Happy Father's Day," Kibutiri said.
Radio Africa Group Convergence director William Pike thanked all fathers present and challenged them to step up and continue being responsible while undertaking their duties.
He reminded fathers to not neglect their key duties such as paying school fees and being present figures in their families.
"I hope all the fathers here are paying school fees...Happy Father's Day and congratulations for being fathers," he said.
The group's HR manager Jemimah Ngode while giving her speech extolled all present for their continued efforts and remembered those that had passed on.
"We want to wish you well and continue being the best daddies...To those aspiring to be fathers, all the best. Happy Father's Day," she said.
Guests present were treated to champagne and cake to celebrate their service to the company.
Father's Day celebrations were held worldwide on Sunday, June 18.
