A woman’s body was on Friday retrieved from a thicket in Machakos County.
The body of Elizabeth Wanza, 29, was found dumped at Five Hills area within Eastleigh sub-location in Machakos Town sub-county on Thursday evening.
The matter was reported to Machakos police station as a murder incident report.
“It was reported by a member of the public that there was a body lying in a thicket at the Five Hills area,” police said.
Police processed the scene and the body was moved to Machakos Level 5 Hospital awaiting an autopsy.
Police said they are investigating the matter.
“The scene appeared disturbed as there were signs of struggle. The case pending under investigations.”
