Former Mukuruweini MP Kabando wa Kabando has supported an idea to have schools introduce anti-corruption classes in schools.
The idea was mentioned by Former Uasin Gishu Gubernatorial aspirant Buzeki Bundotich.
Kabando said the idea to have schools introduce anti-corruption classes is very timely.
"Yes, introducing anti-corruption education in our school's syllabus is very important and timely. A very good proposal here by Buzeki. I second," he said.
Kabando added that the right history of Kenya's cultural attributes should also be taught in schools.
"The correct history that speaks of true indigenous heroism and cultural attributes of our diversity should also be taught," Kabando said.
Buzeki, who called for the introduction of the anti-corruption classes said the move could prove to be key in the fight against corruption in the country.
"Incorporating anti-corruption education into the school syllabus can prove to be a potent strategy in the fight against corruption in Kenya," Buzeki said.
He said if the classes are introduced, it could lead to Kenyans who will value the process of how things are achieved and not just that they are achieved regardless of the means.
"The end product will be cohorts of individuals who will value the means to an end. As opposed to the current mtego imeshika abyss," he added.
