Nacada has flagged as fake the job vacancies circulating online.
In a statement, the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse cautioned Kenyans against falling prey to individuals posing as employees of the Authority while soliciting money from them.
"The Authority does not charge for any application and neither does it engage individuals to conduct hiring on its behalf," the statement read.
It further stated that to find accurate vacancies, the Authority advertises through the My Gov pullout or newspapers of nationwide circulations.
In the fake job advert, up to 23 permanent and pensionable vacancies were announced.
They include the demand for 264 social workers, 137 IT officers, 109 human resource officers, 130 procurement officers and 205 plumbers.
Others are; 133 nurses, 79 cleaners, 113 record keepers, 94 auditors, 121 electricians, 206 rehabilitation officers, 130 security officers and 71 administrators among others.
The deadline for sending in the application was set for March 27, 2023.
Applicants were also required to show a willingness to work with Nacada, must be willing to work in any part of the country and with no criminal record.
