The Sh60 million graft case facing former minster Amos Kimunya and two others will be mentioned today.

Kimunya, former director of land adjudication Lilian Njenga and Junghae Wainaina, an official of Midlands Ltd had been charged, tried and acquitted by anti-corruption chief magistrate Felix Kombo over accusations of abuse of office and corruption-related offences.

Kombo acquitted them two years ago for lack of evidence.

She remitted the file back to the Anti-corruption court and the three will now have to defend themselves over the accusations levelled against them by the state.

Meanwhile, the Cherera 4 tribunal hearing will proceed today with former IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati expected to take the stand.

On Monday Former IEBC commissioner Abdi Guliye said members of the National Security Advisory Council threatened them when they visited Bomas.

Guliye was testifying at the IEBC tribunal for the removal of commissioner Irene Masit, who has been cited for gross misconduct in the August 2022 presidential election.

The former commissioner told the Justice Aggrey Muchelule-led tribunal that four members went to see them on the same day the results were declared.
