Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has thrown a banter at Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua following calls by Azimio to audit the August 9 polls.

Karua had on Thursday alleged that IEBC officials withheld information in the report released by a whistleblower to uphold President William Ruto's win.

"This data was sat on deliberately by the IEBC having known what they did, the court allowed that because IEBC is the duty bearer under the Constitution," she said.

"The truth is finally out and no wonder there are reports that IEBC is interrogating personnel to find out who let the cat out of the bag."

Taking to Twitter, Ahmednasir said Karua is gasping for political oxygen, following recent press conferences held by the Azimio La Umoja leaders.

"Hon Martha Karua SC is gasping for political oxygen," he tweeted.

In a move that is seen as a rekindled beef, Ahmednasir said Karua should play a second fiddle to Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

"Play second fiddle to Kalonzo...OR GO," he said.

On Wednesday, Jubilee secretary general Jeremiah Kioni claimed that ODM leader Raila Odinga's votes were mostly stolen in the Mt Kenya region.

Speaking while addressing the media in Nairobi, Kioni said manipulation that was done during the August 9 election happened within the Mt Kenya region.

"Most of the manipulation that was done happened within the Mt Kenya region," he said.

Kioni said that more information shared by the whistleblower will be brought out by the leaders of the Azimio La Umoja.

"This is a very sad moment for us as a country. More information on the next course of action will be shared later by leaders of the coalition," he said.

In the research that he read out to the media, Kioni said it was done by a non-profit organization that partners with pro-democracy leaders across Africa.

"The whistleblower is not hiding his identity," he said

He also said Raila garnered 8,170,355 votes or 57.53 per cent of votes cast against Ruto's 5,915,973 votes (41.66 per cent of votes cast) as alleged by a whistleblower.
