In courts today: Trial of six cops charged with murder begins

The wife to the slain robbery suspect of the million ATM heist who was allegedly shot by six Kayole police officers told a Nairobi court that her husband was shot dead while handcuffed.

The officers, Corporal Joseph Ojode Obama, Vincent Odhiambo and constables Henry Mutai, Bashir Ali,  James Ngige and Charles Kirimi have since denied the charges. 

According to the charge sheet, the four allegedly killed Wycliffe Owour on March 24, 2020, at Kayole Junction in Kayole.

Owuor was one of the suspects in the Sh72 million Nairobi West ATM heist that took place in 2019.

He was out on bail while the robbery with violence case proceeded.
