President William Ruto has finally appointed his cabinet two weeks after taking oath of office.
While addressing the Nation at State House, Ruto unveiled his cabinet shortly after he held his inaugural cabinet meeting with former cabinet secretaries who served under former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The big winners in his new list are the August 9 polls losers, who worked closely with the President during his campaign season.
Moses Kuria, who vied for the Kiambu Gubernatorial seat and lost to Kimani Wamatangi has been appointed CS for Trade.
Aisha Jumwa, popularly referred to as Shangazi, a Swahili word for Aunt, by the President has landed the Public Service and Gender ministry.
She vied for the Kilifi Gubernatorial seat but lost to Gideon Mung'aro.
Mithika Linturi, who was also vieing for the position of Meru Governor and lost has been appointed as Agriculture CS.
Linturi lost the seat to Kawira Mwangaza.
