Guantanamo man's sister fears for life

The elder sister of a man detained at the Guantanamo Bay has gone into hiding. Mwanajuma Rajab, sister to Guantanamo Bay detainee Abdulmalik Mohamed, was last seen on February 20. This is after two men allegedly visited her and offered to buy her house at Majengo Mapya, Likoni. Speaking to the Star on the phone on Sunday, Rajab said she fears for her life after the two men "asked to know the value of my house".

The elder sister of a man detained at the Guantanamo Bay has gone into hiding.

Mwanajuma Rajab, sister to Guantanamo Bay detainee Abdulmalik Mohamed, was last seen on February 20.

This is after two men allegedly visited her and offered to buy her house at Majengo Mapya, Likoni.

Speaking to the Star on the phone on Sunday, Rajab said she fears for her life after the two men "asked to know the value of my house".

Mohamed was captured at Fort Jesus in Mombasa in February 2007, on suspicion of leading a terrorist bomb plot in Mombasa.

He was transferred to Guantanamo Bay on March 26, 2007.
