Recently, President William Ruto was in Uganda and he and the Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Museveni talked about the need to accelerate and enhance the East African integration.
They seem to suggest that building on the existing East African Community, there should be greater economic integration and as some of you may have read, the long term goal is of a singular currency and also greater political integration.
So that's the idea they discussed and that's what I'd like to comment on.
