According to data from Voronoi by Visual Capitalist, France's squad was valued at $1.76 billion, ahead of England at $1.58 billion and eventual champions Spain at $1.42 billion.
Portugal ranked fourth with a squad value of $1.17 billion, followed by Germany ($1.1 billion) and Brazil ($1.08 billion).
Defending champions Argentina were seventh with a squad value of $937 million, while the Netherlands ($875 million), Norway ($684 million) and Belgium ($635 million) completed the top 10.
Spain justified their lofty valuation by lifting the World Cup after edging Argentina 1-0 in the final on July 19, ending a 16-year wait for football's biggest prize.
The rankings reflect the growing financial value of elite football talent, driven by transfer fees, player performance, age, commercial appeal and long-term potential.
