
Kenya recovered Sh3.4 billion in assets and averted Sh16.5 million in public loss during the 2024/25 financial year, according to the EACC Report of Activities and Financial Statements.
This marked an improvement from the previous year, which saw Sh2.99 billion recovered and Sh2.9 million in loss averted.
In 2022/23, Sh3.8 billion was recovered, while Sh4.74 million in public loss was prevented.
The 2021/22 financial year recorded Sh0.94 billion in recovered assets and Sh4 million in averted loss.
The highest recovery was in 2020/21, with Sh6.5 billion in assets and Sh8 million in public loss averted.
