Kenya’s exports to East African Community (EAC) countries rose steadily from 2020 to 2024, reaching Sh321 billion in 2024.
Uganda remained the top destination, peaking at Sh126.2 billion in 2023. Tanzania and Rwanda followed, with consistent growth until slight dips in 2024.
DR Congo showed notable recovery, rising from Sh18 billion in 2022 to Sh31.7 billion in 2024.
Somalia and South Sudan recorded fluctuations, while Burundi’s exports declined in 2024.
