South Sudan ranks 161st, with a score of 3.833. The Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan complete the list of the five least peaceful nations, ranked 160th and 159th, respectively. Their scores are 3.713 and 3.647.

The consistently high scores for these nations indicate severe challenges in maintaining societal safety and security.
