This high rate of engagement underscores a strong commitment among Kenyan firms to leverage technology for competitive advantage and operational enhancement.
The greatest concentration of AI investment is in customer service, where 55% of organizations are deploying the technology to improve user interactions, provide 24/7 support, and streamline operations.
Closely following this is Software Development at 51%, indicating a major push to use AI to enhance coding efficiency, testing, and product innovation.
Research and Innovation is the third-most common application at 37%, highlighting a move towards data-driven strategy and new product development.
Finally, Marketing Optimisation is a priority for 36% of businesses, where AI is used to refine campaigns, personalize content, and analyze customer data for maximum return on investment. The combined focus on these areas suggests a practical, high-impact approach to technology adoption.
