In Summary

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) checklist for drivers and conductors outlines key safety measures to protect passengers, especially children. Vehicles must be roadworthy with valid inspection certificates, road service licenses, and insurance.

Speed limiters should transmit data to the NTSA Intelligent Road Safety Management System (IRSMS).

Regular servicing is required, ensuring brakes, tires, lights, and side mirrors are functional.

Drivers and conductors must have valid driving licenses and PSV badges.

All children must wear seat belts, with no excess passengers or body parts hanging outside.

Any child found under the influence of drugs or alcohol should be reported.
