Aberdare National Park, located in Kenya's Nyeri and Nyandarua Counties, is a majestic landscape of peaks, moorlands, and waterfalls.
Established in 1950, the park covers an area of 767 sq km with altitudes ranging from 7,000 to 14,000 feet.
It is characterised by deep ravines and numerous waterfalls, including the Karuru, Gura, Chania, and Magura Falls. Visitors can enjoy picturesque mountainous scenery and a deep lush of clean, crisp air.
The park is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including rare species like the Black Rhino, Black Serval, Black Leopard, and Eastern Bongo.
A unique volcanic rock formation known as Dragon Teeth can also be found here. The vegetation features a belt of bamboo merging with the moorlands.
