Kenya has reached a major milestone in its Universal Health Coverage journey, with over 24 million Kenyans now enrolled in the Taifa-Care programme under the Social Health Authority (SHA).
Progress so far: 4.5 million treated under the Primary Healthcare Fund, 2.2 million accessed specialised care. Over 550,000 mothers supported, Sh6.82 billion in claims paid and Sh1.5 billion under verification.
