How to take care of a wound.

Taking care of a wound properly is essential to prevent infection and support faster healing.

The first step is to wash your hands thoroughly, then gently clean the wound using clean water.

Avoid using harsh substances like hydrogen peroxide directly on deep or large wounds, as they can damage tissue.

If dirt or debris remains, gently remove it with clean tweezers sterilised with alcohol.

After cleaning, apply an antiseptic or antibiotic ointment to reduce the risk of infection.

This creates a protective barrier and keeps the wound moist, which can speed up healing.

Avoid using substances like iodine or alcohol unless advised by a medical professional, especially on sensitive skin.
