In Summary

    Common symptoms of shortsightedness/ROSA MUMANYI

Shortsightedness, or myopia, is a common eye condition where distant objects appear blurry while close ones remain clear.

Early signs include difficulty seeing road signs, TV screens, or the whiteboard in class.

You may find yourself squinting often to see better or experiencing eye strain and headaches after trying to focus on far objects. Children may sit too close to the TV or hold books very near.

Night vision may also worsen. If you notice these symptoms, schedule an eye exam. Myopia is easily corrected with glasses, contact lenses, or, in some cases, refractive surgery
