Land availability (94.1 per cent), future returns (88.2 per cent), access to materials (82.4 percent) and access to infrastructure and services (64.7 per cent) were the topmost factors that influence the choice of area for housing development.
In addition, 23.5 per cent
and 5.9 per cent of housing developers considered
devolution-led growth and the tax incentives, respectively, in choosing areas for housing development.
