Clogged ear.

Clogged ears, characterised by a feeling of fullness, pressure, and possibly muffled hearing, are often caused by a buildup of earwax or fluid in the middle ear.

Various factors can contribute to this, including upper respiratory infections like colds or sinus problems, allergies, and even changes in altitude.

Excessive earwax can block the ear canal, leading to a clogged feeling and muffled hearing.

The Eustachian tube connects the middle ear to the back of the throat and helps equalise pressure.

When this tube becomes blocked, it can cause a clogged sensation.
