Kenya leads Africa in used clothing imports, spending $183 million in 2023, according to the KNBS.

Following Kenya are Ghana ($121m), Uganda ($110m), Tanzania ($102m), Angola ($99.3m), Malawi ($92.5m), and Cameroon ($90.7m).

Notably, China was Kenya's primary source for these second-hand clothes in 2023, underscoring the global dynamics of this trade.
