Several countries are feeling the impact of the US foreign aid freeze, with Ukraine suffering the most significant cut—losing $39.1 billion over three years.

Jordan, Ethiopia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) follow, with billions in reduced funding.

Kenya ranks seventh among the most affected, highlighting its reliance on donor funding, especially in healthcare.

The country received $846 million in 2023, which has now dropped to $735 million in 2024, totaling $1.7 billion over three years.

Other nations severely impacted include Somalia, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Sudan, and Yemen, with cuts affecting crucial sectors like food security, healthcare, and infrastructure.
