Government spokesperson Isaac Mwaura highlighted notable strides in the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) as of January 20, 2025.

Out of a targeted 16,000 classrooms, 4,500 have been constructed, with plans to build 7,290 more.

The initiative, Mwaura said, is funded by a Sh11 billion disbursement to schools and Sh6.8 billion allocated to the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF).
