State of the nation address: Highlights of Ruto's speech

President William Ruto on Thursday addressed the nation from Parliament.

It was his second State of the Nation Address to defend his administration's economic record.

The address came at a time when Kenyans are increasingly dissatisfied with rampant corruption, alleged security agent abductions, and an alarming rise in femicide cases.
