Gilbert Masengeli is a seasoned career police officer with over 35 years of experience in the service.
Prior to his appointment, Masengeli was the Commandant at the National Police College, Embakasi ‘A’ Campus.
He is a certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with experience in the following areas; Special Operations Group of the Border Police Unit where he was responsible for coordinating multi-agency special security operations and Assistant Inspector General of Police where he developed strategies for threat mitigation and advised on security deployments along border points.
Masengeli has risen through the ranks from Senior Superintendent of Police to Commissioner of Police.
