At least three major projects marked President William Ruto's three-day visit to the Gusii region which began on Monday, August 12, 2024.
They include the Tuesday groundbreaking ceremony for a cancer Centre treatment facility on the outskirts of Kisii.
The project has been lying in limbo for years awaiting the completion of paperwork between the government and the lender.
It will cost Sh3 billion.
At the Nyangeni area in Nyaribari Chache, Ruto launched the last mile of electricity connectivity.
At Ichuni in Nyaribari Masaba, President Ruto will do the groundbreaking function for the construction of affordable housing.
