NGOs allocated a sum of Sh141,791,259,109 for project implementation during the period.
Of this, Sh109,404,302,522 (77%) was spent within Kenya and Sh32,386,956,586 (23%) expended in other countries.
The utilisation of funds within Kenya indicates that 33 per cent of the total funds were directed towards health-related programmes/projects, followed by 11 per cent for children and 10 per cent for Relief/Disaster Management.
