Kenyans have cited lack of medicine in health facilities as the biggest challenge currently facing the health sector.
A report released by Twaweza East Africa on June 6 showed that 46 per cent of Kenyans cited it as the biggest challenge.
The cost of healthcare was also cited by one out of four citizens as a major challenge.
Six per cent of Kenyans in rural areas cited access to health facilities due to distance as a major problem.
Four per cent cited access to services due to lack of healthcare workers as a major challenge.
Three per cent of Kenyans cited the inability of facilities to handle diverse diseases.
