The Ministry of Interior now says that the death toll from the recent floods has reached 277.
This is even as 75 persons remain missing.
In the latest update given on Monday, the ministry said a total of 188 people have sustained injuries.
A total of 58,009 households have been displaced and this has directly affected approximately 290,045 people.
Some of the most affected counties over the last 24 hours are Tana River, Garissa, and Lamu as a result of the Tana Delta flooding due to heavy rains received in the Central region.
