Most preferred Mombasa governor aspirant

If elections were held today,  Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir would succeed Governor Hassan Joho, with former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko finishing at position two.

A poll released by Trends and Insights for Africa (Tifa) revealed that Nassir is the most popular governor candidate at 40 per cent followed by former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko at 28 per cent.

Funded by Tifa, the survey was conducted in April 2022, and sampled 1949 respondents in Nairobi, Makueni and Mombasa counties, and had a 4 per cent margin of error.
